Chiefs have traded RB Michael Bennett to the Buccaneers.
From the diaries. -Chris
I can't sleep, so I was looking at the different football sites and came across this bit of interesting news. Michael Bennett has been traded to the Tampa Bay Bucs for what some are saying is a 4th round pick. If that is true we just got good value for the underperforming RB. Does this mean that Priest is in the Chiefs future or does the coaching staff think Kolby Smith can handle the backup duties? Here is the link to the trade news:

Makes sense
I casually heard that Priest will be ready in a couple of weeks.

Confirmed
I have to give props to Adam Teicher in that article because he's one of the few writers I've read to recognize that Larry's game on Sunday was just another bad one when you look at the stats.

Is there more to the deal?
Terms of the deal have been finalized with the Bucs sending the Chiefs a second-day draft pick and K.C. sending Tampa Bay a lesser pick along with Bennett.
Take that for what it is. From the quote fabricator himself.

i love the move...
he isnt anything special, and i want to see what kolby smith can do.
plus, if priest is ready to go he is better than bennett IMO, or at least about the same talent level.
